One simple Friday ritual to end your week with peace, not pressure

Every Friday, before the team logs out for the weekend, we do something small that’s become one of my favorite parts of our week.
We call it the ⭐ Success List ⭐
I wanted to create a recurring practice to pause, really intentionally pause and notice what went right.
Each team member shares things they’re proud of from the week. It can be anything related to work or personal win that they're comfortable to share.
Because in a world that glorifies the next task, the next metric, the next “should,” this little ritual reminds us that progress is happening even when it’s quiet.

Why We Do It
On Mondays, we meet for what we call Momentum Mondays where we plan, set priorities, and gear up for the week ahead. It’s where we build focus.
But Fridays? We set it aside for grounding. 💗
The Success List is our way of closing the loop → to reflect, breathe, and honor the small wins that make the big ones possible.
✅ I started this practice after realizing how easy it was, even for me, to end a productive week and still feel like I hadn’t done “enough.”
And that kind of thinking drains motivation faster than any workload.
So instead of always chasing what’s next, I wanted us to anchor into what already is.
What Counts as a “Success”
Here’s the secret: there’s no such thing as a small win.
Some weeks, success looks like finishing a huge project ahead of deadline. Other weeks, it looks like finally catching up on sleep or handling a tough conversation with grace. 🙏
A few of my team’s favorite ones have been:
“I finally figured out that automation issue!”
“I managed to do groceries and cook dinner after a full day - that counts!”
“I spoke up during our meeting even though I was nervous.”
These aren’t bullet points on a KPI report but 👉 they’re proof of growth, consistency, and humanity...the things that actually sustain us.

What I’ve Noticed Since We Started
The shift was subtle at first. But over time, I began to notice:
Our meetings ended with lighter energy.
My team communicated wins more openly instead of hiding behind self-criticism.
They started celebrating each other’s progress, not just their own.
And honestly? It grounded me, too. 😇
As a business owner, it’s so easy to focus only on what still needs fixing - the tasks, the metrics, the next quarter’s goals.
But every time I read their lists, I’m reminded: this is what real momentum looks like. It’s consistency with heart! 💖
A Gentle Invitation for You
If you’re reading this and thinking, “I could use that energy,” start simple.
Before you wrap up today or this week, ask yourself:
“What went right?”
“What did I move forward, even just a little?”
Write it down. Say it out loud. Share it with your team, your partner, or even in your notes app.
You’ll start to see that your progress has been quietly stacking all along.
This isn’t another productivity hack but it’s a reminder that you’re already doing so much more than you give yourself credit for.

As the Year Winds Down
The holidays can make us feel like we’re racing against the clock. But the truth?
You’re not behind. You’re building and sometimes, slowing down to notice that is the most productive thing you can do.
So maybe today, before you end your day, start your own Success List (or whatever you want to name it 😍).
And if it helps you feel a little more grounded, a little more at peace; well, I’d say that’s the best win of the week. 😉
And hey, if reading this reminds you that your version of success also includes more support, more structure, and a business that runs smoother next year — that’s exactly what I help business owners create through my Online Business Management services and Scale & Systems Studio.
Because success should feel sustainable, not suffocating; and sometimes, the biggest win is realizing you don’t have to carry it all alone. 🥂
💌 And if a fellow business friend came to mind while reading this, someone who could use a little reminder to pause and celebrate their own progress, send this their way.
You might just make their week! 😉
