Social Media Goals for Quarter 2

It's that time of the year again when we take a step back, reflect on what has happened, analyze our progress in the past three months and plan for the next three.

Quarter 1 has just ended and it's even half of Quarter 2!

It's now time to check if we hit the social media goals we've set! 😊

Q1 was mostly about getting your bearings and solidifying your social media strategy and it's now time to check if we hit our social media goals😊

Like most business owners, you want to see tangible evidence that your efforts translate into results.

This is where analytics comes in!

By examining your insights, you can identify what is working really well and what isn't, to course-correct accordingly.

This data is super important to check monthly and quarterly, (heck, some even check weekly!) so you're on top of your game and not going into the battlefield blind or deaf.

As they say, change the plan but not the goal! 😉

Did you hit or exceed your goals!?

If yes, then GOOD, and congratulations!

💡 Continue to take note of your best practices and keep doing them!

💡 If not, then assess where the gaps are or what factors contributed to why reaching that goal didn't work and adjust accordingly.

Sounds easy huh!? Nope!

Anything worth having will always require your time, effort, and dedication.

Let's evaluate how well those goals are working, and make necessary adjustments, as needed.

In order to have a successful social media presence, it is essential to set S.M.A.R.T. goals.

Now some of you might be wondering what are some examples of social media goals!? 🤔

Here are some examples:

Increase brand awareness

✔ Generate more leads

✔ Drive traffic to your website

✔ Build relationships with your audience to grow an online community

Specific - what are the goals you intend to achieve?

Measurable - can the progress be measured? if yes, how?

Achievable - are the goals realistic and reasonable given the timeframe?

Relevant - why are these goals set?

Time-bound - will this be for one quarter or two, or for the entire year?

Example of a SMART social media goal:

Increase my leads on Instagram to 30, and convert at least 5 of them into clients within Q2 of 2022.

This will be achieved through organic (70%) and paid marketing (30%).

Organic marketing will be by engaging with my ideal accounts for 30 minutes from Mondays to Fridays, connecting to at least 5 new accounts a day, and nurturing the existing ones. There will be a lead tracker to monitor each account's progress from being a cold lead, warm lead up to a hot lead.

Paid marketing will be by creating two ads (using an A/B Testing), with emphasis on [what type of content] and assessing its results monthly.

For the past two quarters, Instagram has been the leading source of where I get quality leads and closing them as clients. I'll be setting an increased goal from 20 leads (last two quarters) to 30 this quarter which will give more opportunities for conversion.

Once you've set your goals for the year, you can start doing mini-goals to achieve the BIG GOALS!

Then start mapping out a plan so you know how you can make it all happen.

Tell me in the comments below what you want to achieve in the next three months!

Cheering you on,

MJ 💕
