The content you choose to pin will be the first thing that your audience will see when they visit your profile.
It helps draw attention to the content that you want to be seen first or be emphasized more, and can also be used to create a unified theme for your profile.
This is why it’s super important to make sure that the content or post is of high-quality and will accurately reflect your brand.
High-quality means:
The photos are of high resolution and do not pixelate.
The texts can be clearly seen - not too small and not too big that it overwhelms your audience
If you choose to post a Reel/video - ensure that the resolution, size, and audio are of great quality
Plus, don't forget to add a clear call to action so your audience will know what to do next! 😊

If you haven't tried pinning your content on Instagram, now is the time to give it a shot!
With the new feature, you can now choose up to three pieces of content to be pinned to your Instagram grid - a single photo, a multiple photo post (carousel), a Reel or a longer video.
This means you can easily highlight the content you want your audience or community to see first and keep it at the top of your page.
To maximize the use of this feature, here are THREE IDEAS THAT YOU CAN PIN:
1️⃣ WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU DO
As a mental health professional/coach, you'd want your ideal audience to get to know you.
It's easy to focus on your professional background, but best to balance it by adding a bit of your story of why you chose your profession or became a therapist/coach.
Sharing your story helps create a sense of connection and trust with your ideal audience, which is an important part of building relationships.
Additionally, demonstrating your understanding and knowledge of mental health issues can help build credibility and position you as a thought leader/an expert.
This increases the KLT (Know, Like and Trust) factor!
2️⃣ YOUR SERVICES, AVAILABILITY, AND HOW TO WORK WITH YOU
The main rule here is to make it easy for your audience to know
how to reach you when they want to book a call/appointment
where they can go to check your services and programs
what state/s (if in the US) you're licensed to practice
You want to ensure that your potential clients have an easy time accessing the information they need to make an informed decision about working with you.
By providing this information upfront, you can ensure a smooth process for both you and your clients. 🙂
3️⃣ YOUR FREEBIE (if you have one). IF NOT, CHOOSE A TOPIC THAT'S IMPORTANT AND RELEVANT TO YOU AND TO YOUR COMMUNITY
Talk about your freebie, who it's for, why you created it and how this can help your ideal audience!
If you don't have any freebies yet, talk about the most commonly asked questions in your field, or it can also be the top myths about your specialization.
This way, your community can easily refer to it and be made aware. 😎
